Ember - Horse Seeks Home!

Freedom Valley Horse Rescue Introduces - Ember!

Ember, a lovely nine year-old Standardbred mare, did not do well racing. She has been trained both English and Western saddle, and also to drive. Ember still needs a bit of work, but she is a super nice girl - easy to catch / handle and offers a comfy ride.

Ember had not been ridden in a few months, had never been in our round pen, or as close to our new donkeys as she was today, yet she was well-behaved, and just needs some regular riding right now. Ember is friendly, willing and eager to please.
Standing at 16.2 hands, she is quite tall,  but does stand well for mounting.
Her adoption fee is negotiable right now, but once more work is put into her, it will be more 'firm'. Ember comes with her rain sheet and a winter blankie.
Visit Freedom Valley Horse Ranch blog to find out more about Ember and other horses available for adoption.
