Manvers Wind Exchange March Parking At The Ranch -Bethany

Thanks so much to Jane and Nick at the Ranch for letting us use their parking lot for the day. Details of the day below. Organized by one of the hardest working wind warriors in the Province, Lorrie Gillis.
Municipal council reps at the Multi Municipal meeting suggested that there should be high interest in attending this protest in Toronto due to the rush on jamming more turbines into our communities. Many of them are working hard to fight this invasion and they need to know you support their effort. They recognize that this is as much, or more, a provincial issue as a local one. And many of our municipal reps will be in Toronto at the Royal York/Fairmont hotel at the Good Roads convention on the day we march from Queens Park to the Royal York.
  • Sick of your massive Hydro One bill coming in an envelope with turbines on the back of it?
  • Sick of wondering where your Hydro One bill is at all?
  • Sick of watching your community being torn apart before turbines and acres of solar get there?
  • Sick from turbines starting up near your home?
  • Sick of putting out a pile of $$$$$$$$$$$$$ to try to defend yourself against your own corrupt government?
  • Sick of watching this corrupt government REWRITE the rules to fit industrialization of our communities?
  • Sick of being unable to sell your house at the price it should go for?
  • Sick of being unable to sell your house at all?
  • Sick of watching weak or corrupt municipalities 'negotiate' with criminals to sell you out? Sick of not living in a democracy?
  • Sick of watching the future of this province head for the sewer?
Add to this list, bundle up to come to Queen's Park on Feb. 24th to show all politicians, including the ones that are working for us, that this is a BIG issue to contend with. (we will be able to warm up at both Queen's Park at the Royal York/Fairmont)

Manvers Wind Exchange March Details

On FEB 24 will let ALL politicians at Queens Park know that WE ARE NOT GOING AWAY and that existing and proposed industrial wind turbines have to be dealt with and will AGAIN be a major election issue.
Mothers Against Turbines is putting the challenge out there to show MPPS and Toronto that the years of abuse of provincial power has to stop! Let's rise to the occasion and send a very clear message to MPPS that industrial wind turbines cannot continue to desecrate our health, homes and communities.
Bring your signs! Bring your noisemakers! Bring your megaphones!
Plans are for a few speakers and a march to the Royal York/Fairmount Hotel to OGRA - Ontario Good Roads Association, handing out information along our way. March will be for 30 - 40 minutes in length. Municipal and provincial elected reps will be at OGRA to see that this issue is not going away simply because the current govt. chooses to ignore it! All actions count and the timing for this one will get a message to all running in the upcoming election. Let's wake 'em up on Feb. 24th!
