Ops Man Facing DUI Charges

Ops Man Faces Impaired Driving Charges

Kawartha Lakes Police services protected another person from their own poor decisions making last night.  A traffic stop in Lindsay last evening resulted in a 30 year old Ops man being charged with impaired driving.

An officer stopped a vehicle on Kent Street East at Lindsay Street Tuesday evening at 10:18pm for a Highway Traffic Act Violation and arrested the driver for impaired driving. Kyle Thomas Redman has been charged with impaired driving and operating a vehicle with over 80 milligrams of alcohol. He will appear in court on July 17th. Mr. Redman’s licence has been suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for 7.
