Snowmemee ? Omemee Church Rescues Stranded Motorists! [photos]

Omemee Baptist Church - Shelters Stranded Motorists!

While this may not be news for people living in Omemee, our readers at a distance may not have heard yet. 
Did you know the blizzard that blew through Omemee November 18th stranded motorists? Road conditions in Omemee were so bad that they pulled the snowplows off the roads and Omemee was closed. Omemee Baptist Church opened its doors to shelter stranded motorists until they were able to resume their travels about 4 am. Omemee went from a slight skiff of snow like this in the Emily tract:

The huge snowfall caused Katelyn Harrison to speculate that Omemee should be renamed SNOWmemee
