OPP Arrest Lindsay Male Near Mount Horeb Road!
A Lindsay man is facing an April court date after being arrested and charged with three offences near Mount Horeb Road.

LOCAL MALE ARRESTED FOR ALCOHOL RELATED DRIVING OFFENCE
(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) –

March 6, 2015 the Ontario Provincial Police
(OPP) received a traffic complaint related to a vehicle which was being operated in an
erratic manner. An officer located and stopped this vehicle on Highway 35 near Mount
Horeb Road.
The officer determined that the driver had been consuming alcohol and subsequently
arrested the male. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
As a result of the investigation William CARR, 32 years of age, of Lindsay was arrested
and charged with the following offences:
- Impaired driving
• Driving with more than 80mgs of alcohol in 100mL of blood
- Driving with an open container of liquor, contrary to the Liquor Licence Act
- Fail to surrender insurance card, contrary to the Compulsory Automobile
Insurance Act
The accused will appear in court, in Lindsay, on April 2, 2015.
