Hydro One Restoring Area Power-Omemee Skirted by Storm

Expected Power Restoration June 12th

While thousands of customers throughout southern Ontario may be without power until early Sunday morning, Omemee residents were unscathed by the power outage.
Hydro One workers are once again, on repair duty, restoring power after Wednesday’s storm blew through, leaving 65,000 southern Ontario customers without power. The storm,which tore the roof off historic Fairview United Church at nearby Smith Centre Line, left 8,600 customers without power in Peterborough County, 7,000 in City of Kawartha Lakes area, 10,000 in Tweed area, and 2,700 in Bancroft area.
