LCVI Teen Faces Drug Traficking Charges!
Two LCVI Teens Facing Drug Charges!
Two 15 year old teens face drug charges, following an internal investigation by staff at LCVI.
Suspicious Actios Lead to Investigation
A teacher observed a group of students congregated in a hallway, and detected the odor of cannabis marijuana. The group of students were immediately separated by school staff, and an investigation immediately commenced.Following searches of both personal property, and lockers, a quantity of cannabis marihuana estimated at approximately four grams was seized.
Police were contacted by school officials who eventually charged one of the students for possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, and the second for possessing a controlled substances.
Both were released to their respective parents, and are compelled to appear in court on March 6th 2012. Neither can be identified pursuant to the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
