Annual Easter Egg Hunt Gamiing Nature Centre Omemee

Freewill Donations Benefit EcoGuardian Programs

Saturday April 23 , GAMIING NATURE CENTRE hosts their annual Easter Eco-Egg Hunt. The event is rain or shine, so come prepared for the weather and to have fun! Activities include egg hunt, forest bingo, ( a popular game to play with the family while you take in the sights and sounds of the forest, meadows and wetland). yummy refreshments and even a bake sale .Information booths will be located in the Discovery Shack and in their new Straw bale Hut.

As always, admission is by donation. The proceeds will support their EcoGuardian programs

Gamiing (gaa-minj) Ojibwe, meaning “at the shore“, operates from a 100-acre property with a natural shoreline, surrounded by wetlands, forests and meadows. A Conservation Easement has been placed upon the land and put in Trust with the Kawartha Heritage Conservancy to preserve it in perpetuity as a dynamic natural venue to where the public is invited to relax, reflect and participate in interactive low-impact and zero-impact activities.
