Smashed ATV Driver Smashed!
ATV OPERATOR CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED DRIVING
Ontario Provincial Police attended a single vehicle collision involving an all terrain vehicle which resulted in the arrest of the driver for an alcohol related offence.
May 19, 2012 an officer from the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the OPP responded to a collision involving an ATV on Parkhill Drive within the City of Kawartha Lakes. The driver and passenger were both transported to Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay with undetermined injuries.
As a result of the investigation, Ryan YULE, 27 years, of Perth East Township was arrested and charged with impaired driving and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle contrary to the Criminal Code.
The accused was released from custody and will appear in court on June 28, 2012 in Lindsay, Ontario.
