Crime Stoppers Seek Stolen Grandfather!

Municipality of Trent Lakes, ON – Saturday March 2, 2013 officers from Peterborough County OPP responded to a Break-In at a Sand Lake Circle address, west of the Village of Buckhorn. Among the items stolen, was a carved urn containing the victim's grandfather's ashes. Can you help solve this crime? 

Sometime between February 23 and March 2, thieves forced entry into the victim's cottage and stole assorted bottles of liquor, 20 DVDs and VHS movies, a DVD/VHS player, a chainsaw, 20 litres of gasoline, a pair of binoculars and a carved wooden Urn containing the ashes of the victim's Grandfather.

Everyone is asked to keep an eye on their neighbourhood and report suspicious persons to police. If anyone observed anything that they wish to report to Crime Stoppers or you have any information about any serious crimes, call Crime Stoppers.  As a caller you will never have to reveal your identity or testify in court.  If your information leads to an arrest you may be eligible for a CASH REWARD.
