Super Omemee Students Thanked!

Omemee Scott Young Public School Students Help Homeless Pets!

Kawartha Lakes Animal Wellness Society helps rehome pets, reunite lost pets with owners, and find new homes for abandoned pets in our area.  Their volunteer efforts touched a chord with students from Scott Young School who decided to help this very worthy cause.
Here is a note of thanks from "KLAWS".

KLAWS would like to give out a huge PAW SALUTE to the grade 7 & 8 POW Pack students of Scott Young Public School in Omemee.
These students are “Powering our World” and are well on their way in becoming leaders in the community. This dedicated group of students organized & held a pet food/toy drive, & gathered hundred of items which they then donated to KLAWS.
We were honoured to be selected to receive these donations! They are being used to the maximum, helping the animals that we assist as well as being spread throughout our rescue community. Having the support of organizations & groups such as these POW pack students at Scott Young means the world to us. It shows support for the animals that we are helping, and for the work that we are doing.
We cannot thank you enough for caring, and for sharing so much to help others. POW PACK, YOU ROCK! Would you like to find out more about KLAWS?
