Bethel Annual Fresh Fish Fry Dinner

Bethel United Church Annual Fish Fry is a month earlier this year. Bethel Fish Fry Dinner, a popular local event, brings people swarming from miles around. Bethel Church dinners are well known for their generous portions, and delicious selection of homemade pies. Bethel will be serving up fresh caught Lake Trout and Whitefish. Orders must be placed in advance for the fish,so avoid disappointment by calling to reserve your tickets before noon on Monday.Dinner will be served continuously from 4:30 to 7 p.m. June 1st.

Tickets for Bethel Annual Fresh Fish Fry Dinner are: Adults, $14, Children, six to 12 years, $6.
Bethel United Church is located 1 km East of Omemee, and 1 km North of Hwy 7 at 90 Bethel Road North.

PHILP, Joseph B.D. was born on September 4, 1851 in Manvers Twp. (Durham Co.) and was the Methodist Minister at Omemee from 1860 to1870, when he went on to minister in Millbrook and numerous other parishes. He married Miss Louisa Wright Bennett of Copetown on June 11, 1875.
