Stem Cell Treatments Improve Heart Condition!

Harold Williams Back Home!

Harold Williams- local philanthropist, teacher, storyteller, Toastmaster, and good friend, recently required lifesaving stem cell treatments in Argentina for cardiomyopathy. Omemee Pigeon eFlyer is flying around the internet trying to raise funds to help defray the costs of this treatment. Please consider donating. ‘Buy Harold a cup of coffee' via PayPal!

Why Harold Needed Stem Cell Treatment

What a whirlwind two weeks it has been. I never thought I would end up in Buenos Aires when I began this journey of living with heart disease. It has been two years and a half since diagnosis of cardiomyopathy. The drugs have been horrible and I have gone through so many of them to try to find something I am not allergic to or that knock me down. No success there. Without access to the meds I was on a steady decline. Rosa - God love her, discovered stem cells as an option.

Groundbreaking Stem Cell Treatment Search

We were all set to go to Germany when they closed down in May. That set me back quite a bit. we were scrambling to find where else in the world we could get this done. Rosa discovered the doctor in Argentina. He is top notch and world renowned. Many thanks to all who have helped in the fundraising.

Combating Pain, Lack of Oxygen

WE were in Argentina for only 10 days, yet it feels like a whole other lifetime. We started in San Nicholas de la Arroyo for the clinic and then recovered in Buenos Aires. We were treated so well by everyone we met. Before I left for Argentina I was in real crisis. I had zero energy and lots of pain and weird heart rhythms. I would turn blue in the face for lack of oxygen.

Stem Cell Treatment Gives Marked Improvement

It is now 9 days after treatment and already improvement in seen. I am no longer turning blue. I still get tired but am managing to recover with rest. It will take 6 to 12 weeks to truly feel the effects. Before treatment, I spoke to many other patients who had this done and they all felt good results for their serious heart conditions.

Renewed Hope-Looking Forward

So now we are back form this grand adventure. WE did not see much of Buenos Aires as I was still in recovery, yet what we did see was very beautiful. It is winter down there at 15 to 20 degrees. It was a nice break form our summer heat. All seems to be going well. I hope to return to teaching in the fall. I would love to get back into storytelling and comedy but one step at a time.
All the best to all who have lent such support and I will continue to update as more changes are seen.
Take care
