Hey Farmer? Need Help?
Crop Mob Time!
Farms using ecological farming practices needing helping hands get willing hands through crop mobs this year in Ontario. Farms at Work,a central Ontario FarmON Alliance partner is piloting a Crop Mob Network. There at least 30-40 people registered in central Ontario so far, who are interested in coming out to help with harvesting or other ‘many hands’ farm work. Crop Mobs are growing in popularity in the United States,and this is the first initiative in Ontario.
How Your Farm Can Get Crop Mob Help
if you have a farm in the area that employs ecological farming practices and find yourself in need of some serious help, email cropmob@farmstart.ca with the following information at least 3 weekdays prior to the event.
Your information will be sent out to the crop mob e-mail list! It’s worth a try, and as more people learn about the program,it will grow. To learn more about Crop Mobs visit www.farmstart.ca/cropmob/about-crop-mobs
