Omemee Youth in Santa Claus Parade - Will We See You?
Omemee Youth Entering Float in Santa Claus Parade
Omemee Youth in grades 7 and up meet weekly on Wednesday evenings from 7 to 9pm at Scott Young Public School where they play sports,watch videos, and more. Omemee Youth is an Outreach of the Omemee Baptist Church on Sturgeon Street Omemee, and all youth are welcome to join in their free fun evening. The next event for the Omemee Youth Group will be the Santa Claus Parade on Dec. 3rd. Here is an up date.Omemee Youth Santa Claus Parade:
Saturday. Dec. 3rd- Youth who have volunteered to help with the parade, and to Walk and Hand out Candy Canes will be meeting at the Church at 10:00 am for instruction, and to help decorate the float. Helpers signed up with Youth Leader Stephen Quibell by Wed. Nov. 30th. Since this is a Rain, Snow, Wind or Shine event everyone is keeping an eye on the weather, so they can dress accordingly. Parents are asked to pick up their youth at the church around 2:00 pm.following the parade,or youth who arrived on foot,can just walk home, if that is preferable.Omemee Youth Events Update
The Christmas season can be very busy! Here are some dates you should know about:Sat. Dec. 3rd-Omemee Santa Claus Parade from 10:00am-2:00pm. Meet at the Church.
Wed. Dec. 7th-Youth at the School 7:00pm-9:00pm
Wed. Dec. 14th-Community Christmas Dinner at Omemee Baptist Church- (No Youth)
Sun. Dec.18th-Youth Christmas Party at Omemee Baptist Church 4:00pm-9:00pm
Wed. Dec. 21st - No Youth-Merry Christmas!
Sat. Dec. 24th-Christmas Eve Service at Omemee Baptist Church 7:00pm - All Welcome
Wed. Dec. 28th - No Youth-Happy Holidays!
Wed. Jan. 4th - No Youth-Happy Holidays!
Wed. Jan. 11th- Youth at the School
