Winter has not left us yet.

The spring thaw, recent and occurring precipitation has raised water levels on rivers, streams, lakes. Snow is on the way.

Rivers are rushing. Some flooding may occur.

The lake shores and river banks are lose and slippery.

Ice is very unstable

Roads will be slippery and treacherous __________________________________________________________________

Please be aware a man driving a small grey pick-up truck was reported asking a boy if he wanted a ride. This occurred Friday April 13th, 2012 along Hwy#7 in Omemee.

The driver is described as male, white in his 30’s with short black hair.
Should you see this truck stopping and speaking to children please do not approach.
Call police at 1- 888-310-1122 immediately.
Of course if the child is in danger call 9-1-1.
