Canada day Weekend: Omemee Lioness Serving Annual Pioneer Days Pancake Breakfast!

Omemee Pioneer Day Breakfast: Great Community Event!

Omemee Lioness have been serving our community and the world since 1979. Saturday, Jul 2nd, Omemee Lioness, will once again be dishing up delicious pancakes, and sausage with all the trimmings from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Omemee’s Coronation Hall,1 King Street West. Funds raised from this event will all go back into our community.Children 3 and under are free, 10 and under $3.50, and adults, only $7.50. Tickets are available at the door.

Omemee Lioness Pioneer Days Annual Pancake Breakfast is an event eagerly looked forward to by residents, and visitors from miles around. Not only do you get a hearty delicious feed of pancakes and sausages,fruit,and beverage, it’s a chance to rub elbows with all the locals that few pass up. You might say the Annual Pancake Breakfast is truly Omemee’s Homecoming event!  It is not uncommon to find local celebrities,and politicians among the mix at the long paper covered tables filling Coronation Hall in the heart of the village, or perusing the intriguing Omemee Historical Society displays on the stage in the historic Hall. The main floor at Coronation Hall is wheelchair chair accessible via a handy ramp at the front of the building. This is an event you won’t want to miss!

Barbeque! Baking! Plants! Yard Sale! Oh My!

May 21st Great Fun! Rain or Shine!

Omemee and District Lioness will once again hold their annual Yard Sale on Saturday May 21st - 8:00 am – 2:30 pm. at Omemee Enterprises (former Regal Stationery) at the far east end of the village. 
Omemee Lions will be showing their motto as they cook up and serve tasty BBQ for a great deal.
Looking for baking? Delicious home made goodies will be available for purchase,but you'd better come early before it's all gone. Note: The Omemee Lioness are particularly well known for their pies.

Gardening this weekend? Make sure to stop by and pick up your plants!

Then of course, there are the treasures! 
Omemee Lioness have been on location ,Tuesday and Friday mornings receiving donations for this great fundraiser, while Lioness Pauline, has been arranging pick up of larger items. This is a Don't miss event!
All profits are donated back into the community!

Help Raise Dog Guide Funds! Join LIONS Walking Kawartha Trans Canada Trail

Wheelchair Accessible Purina® Walk for Dog Guides May 29th Start Collecting Pledges Now!


Four local clubs will join forces Sunday, May 29 with over 200 Lions clubs across Canada to raise funds that will help Canadians with disabilities live more independent lives. Our three area Lions clubs: Omemee and District, Fowler's Corners and District, and Dunsford and District, as well as Omemee Lioness; are working together to host a Purina® Walk for Dog Guides along part of the Kawartha Trans Canada Trail. Since 1983, Lions Foundation of Canada has provided Dog Guides to more than 1600 people of all ages with disabilities.

Omemee and District Lioness are gearing up for their Annual Yard Sale, and you’re invited to participate! Time to make room for new treasures by clearing out those items that just aren’t quite your style anymore! Tuesday and Friday mornings, leading up to the Saturday May 21st, yard sale, Lioness will be on hand to accept your ‘treasures" at Omemee Enterprises (former Regal Stationery). Drop off treasures from 10:00 to 11:30 am, or for pick up call Pauline at 799-6901.
