Fleet Footed Flat Foots Arrest Assaulter!

Kawartha Lakes Police Put Through Paces!

A 26 year old Lindsay man is in custody following a downtown Lindsay police foot chase yesterday afternoon.

Wednesday April 11th at 2:45 pm a commercial truck driver stopped a group of individuals in the area of Lindsay Street South and Russell Street West in the Town of Lindsay to ask for directions.

One male in the group, took offence to the out of town resident and became physically and verbally confrontational with the truck driver.

The truck driver, and two passersby, who just happened to come by the altercation, were assaulted prior to the male fleeing the area on foot.

Kawartha Lakes Police Service had occasion to arrest 26 year old Bradley McMillan following a multi-officer foot pursuit in the downtown core of Lindsay.

Mr. McMillan has been charged with three counts of assault, and one count of theft under $5000 in relation to the incident. Mr. McMillan has been held for a bail hearing.

Thankfully, none of the three victims required medical attention.
