Sirens! Sirens! SIRENS! Multiple Police Units Dispatched Today!

Earlier today,Whike we were conducting a test live Ustream broadcast from 41 King Street East, Police vehicle,after vehicle,sped through Omemee headed towards Emiky Park Road. much speculation has revolved around this event. Here is the official report issued by PC Lanning of City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the OPP.:

OPP ASSIST MALE IN DISTRESS
 
(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – At approximately 12:30 p.m. on June 26, 2012 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was contacted by ambulance dispatch in regards to a male party indicating he was going to harm himself.
 
Officers from the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the OPP attended a residence on Cadillac Boulevard in the former Emily Township and confirmed that a male party was barricaded at that location.
 
The OPP deployed the Emergency Response Team (ERT), Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU), K-9 unit, crime unit members, a crisis negotiator and had EMS attend the location.
 
Just prior to 4:00 p.m. the 43 year old male party was taken into custody without incident.
