Tide Pods Attractive Nuisance?

TOTS CONTINUE CHOMPING CANDY COLOURED CHEMICALS

Tide Pod Tubs Cheery Packaging Proves Headache

Since July 2012 over 2,000 children have been prying their way into Tide Pod tuns to steal what they think is candy, with disastrous results. Just yesterday February 21 another child was admitted for poisoning after ingesting a Tide pod. A quick glance at the packaging shows for the Tide Pods could easily be mistaken for candy by a non-reader. The Tide Pod tub closely resembles plastic candy display tubs found in variety stores. While parents are blaming the packaging for the problem, for years Department of Health officials have advised parents to keep home chemicals under lock and key.

Tide, to help increase the safety of its Tide Pod Tubs, is giving away Re-Sealable Stickers for their Tide Pod Tubs. Each order will contain 4 stickers. Will these stickers keep sticky fingers out of the Tide Pod Tubs? Remember -you are your child's best defense against household poisoning.
