Sunday Smile : God Will Save Me! - [Flood Joke]

Burnt River Firefighters Are Boating From Home to Home- Get In The Boat!

Are You Missing The Boat? This joke is an oldie but a goodie:

It had rained for days and days causing a flood.  A senior, not having any transportation prays for God to save him. Just then, there is a knock at the door.
His neighbour, shouts against the storm 'Hey buddy there's a flood coming! Hop in my car.  I can take you to higher ground.'
'No thanks,' the man replies, 'The Lord will save me!'
The flood rises to the road, and a begins pouring in his first floor windows .
A firefighter comes by in a row boat and shouts, 'We're evacuating this area. Climb aboard!'
'No thanks,' the man says, 'The Lord will save me!'
The water rises so high, the man is forced to climb on top of his roof .
A helicopter flies overhead, and drops a rescue ladder. A voice over a megaphone shouts 'We are here to rescue you!'
'No thanks,' the man replies once again,  The Lord will save me!  .
The waters rise above the chimney and the man drowns.
Standing in heaven, he meets God.
'Why didn't you recsue me? he demands.'
'Rescue you? replies God incredulously., 'Rescue you? I sent a car, a row boat and a helicopter!'
