Kawartha Lakes Boys and Girl's Club? Some Rural Youth Missing

New Lindsay Kawartha Lakes Youth Drop In Welcomes Teens!

 July 30, 2013 at 2:00pm. the Boys and Girls Clubs of Kawartha Lakes will launch The Warehouse Youth Centre.  While Cameron, Dunsford, Bobcaygeon and Fenelon Falls youth will be able to access the youth centre via the new rural bus system at a cost of $14 in transit fees, many rural youth will miss out, and even Lindsay youth may find it challenging to access the evening programs since town buses only operate till 7 pm.
 The Warehouse will be dedicated to providing programs and services for youth 12-14 years and 14-19 years. On July 30th  all interested community members are welcome to come out and see the brand new facility that includes- Rogers Raising the Grade Technology Centre  , Kitchen, 12-14 years centre, lounge, pool tables, fitness zone

image The Warehouse Youth Centre currently Under Construction Green on blackThe Warehouse drop-in youth centre will welcome youth to play video games, use computers, play pool, hang out with friends, and just chill out. They have an indoor skatepark and gym access on Monday and Wednesday nights. The Warehouse also has a full kitchen to make snacks everyday, and dinner on Thursday nights.
