June 28-29 Omemee Pioneer Days 2014 Welcome You!
Omemee Pioneer Days 2014 Offers Family Fun Galore!
Omemee Pioneer Days 2014 will offer two days of family fun beginning at 8am June 28th. Omemee Pioneer Days, a joint effort between numerous organizations and people in the village has events that the whole family will enjoy.
There will be prize giveaways at the Omemee Beach Park including a draw for a children’s bike and Omemee Baptist Church is offering free prizes,snacks and drinks! Here is a brief schedule of the events that will begin in the morning:

- 8:00am -Pancake Breakfast opens @Coronation Hall -Cupcake Making contest opens @Coronation Hall
- 9:00am -Games, Snacks, Crafts begin @Omemee Baptist Church -United Way Demonstration & Helmet Handout -Fishing Derby @Boat Launch -BMX participants registration
- 10:00am -BMX competition begins@park -O.P.P. Bike Rodeo begins@park -Face painting booth opens@park -Tug of war competition @park -Bounce House opens @Omemee Baptist Church
- 11:00am -Free BBQ opens @Omemee Baptist Church -Baby Contest starts @Coronation Hall -Pancake breakfast closes @Coronation Hall
- 11:30am Horticulture Club Ceremony Begins @Coronation Hall
- 12:00pm -Lions BBQ opens@park -Face Painting Closes
- 1:00pm - Legion Jam Session begins@park -Three legged, wheel barrow, & egg relay@park - Fishing Derby closes - Lions BBQ & Omemee Baptist BBQ close 3:00pm All Events & Games @Park & Baptist Church close (except maybe BMX - finishes when all competitors have been seen)
- 8:00pm Dance @Legion

- 10:00am -Praise in the Park (music & message by Baptist Church) @Park
- 11:30am -Praise in the Park ends
- 12:30pm -Registration for Talent Show
- 1:00pm -Talent Show begins@park -Washer Tournament begins@park
