BC Senior Arrested Locally Delivering Pot Plants!
An officer with the Kawartha Lakes Police Service had occasion to observe a suspicious vehicle bearing a British Columbia licence plate parked in the driveway of a Dormer Road residence shortly after 11am this morning.
The officer observed a male unload a 3 foot cannabis plant from the vehicle and carry it into the residence. The male was arrested when he returned to the vehicle for another load.
The officer seized 70 cannabis marihuana plants ranging in size from seedlings, up to 3 feet in height. He also seized 20 – 10ml syringes loaded with cannabis resin concealed inside a small cooler.
Total street value of the cannabis is estimated at approximately $13,000.
Austin SAVARY of Kelowna British Columbia has been charged with possession of cannabis marihuana for the purpose of trafficking, possession of cannabis resin for the purpose of trafficking and cultivating cannabis. He is to appear in a Lindsay court on August 16th .
