Collectible Cards Heisted! Have You Seen These Cards?
City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service Requests Public Assistance
City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service seeks information about the following residential break-in:The list of items stolen include:
- various pieces of 10K and 14K gold jewelry
- a quantity of cash
- Collectible hockey, baseball and basketball cards, comic book hero cards and pogs - quantity approximately 3500 to 4000 cards. These cards were stored in various size boxes; single cards were in hard plastic sleeves (containers); binders with plastic sleeves/sheets that were full of cards - at least 2 of the smaller boxes that housed cards were full of unopened sets of baseball cards. Several of the smaller boxes of the cards were stored in a large metal container (similar to that of a really large metal popcorn container)
Information on this theft can be provided directly to the police service, or through anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477) on online at http://www.khcs.ca
