Omemee, Ontario May 10th, 2014 Mothers Day Weekend would not be complete without a stop at Omemee and District Horticultural Society Annual Plant Sale.Did you know funds from this sale help the volunteer gardeners help keep Omemee Gardens beautiful?

While doors open at 9am, seasoned gardeners arrive earlier to secure their place in line.
"The early birds get the worms err.. I mean – pick of plants," confides plant sale chair,Barb Morrison.Shoppers are asked to please bring their own boxes or totes, as well as a couple of extra loonies for the large planter raffle. The Large Planter being raffled off contains very colourful palette of the “Plants of the Year” The planter from last year was beautiful, and the winner was Nicole Cockerell from Omemee.
Omemee and District Plant Sale Omemee Curling Rink- 15 James St. One block west of the stoplights. Watch for signs!
