Yelverton United Church Talent Auction Announced!
Saturday September 6, 2014 7pm Yelverton United Church welcomes you to their talent auction! This historic landmark church, known for its delicious dinners is holding a talent auction, and you are invited. Wondering what's up for bid, and where the auction is? Many are definitely wondering the latter.For some odd reason, the Bing map on their Facebook event listing is showing it in the UK. It is definitely not in the UK. Yelverton United Church is just a short jaunt down the road from Omemee, Ontario Canada. We have included a map and link to more accurate directions below.

Yelverton Ontario Talent Auction Items
List of items up for bid:- Dinner for four – 4 courses – appetizer/soup or salad/entree/dessert @ Carol’s home, Dec 6 – 15, 2014, which will be decorated for Christmas. - Carol Nicholson
- 2 coffee cakes -Carol Nicholson
- Artist’s 9” x 12” Sketch of child, home or pet – (20 years’ experience) Final rendering in Ink or water colour, bidder’s preference No matting or framing included - Janet Sollitt
- 2 dozen butter tarts – 1 doz with raisins; 1 doz plain - Marie Bell
- A beautiful colour tour of Ontario for a day for four adults or a family of five people. The tour will last an entire day, and on- board snacks and stops along the way for coffee and refreshments are included in the package. Date to be arranged from - October 8 to 15, 2014. A homemade picnic lunch and beverages at a scenic sheltered area will be provided. The route will be through the colourful Haliburton Highlands and into Algonquin Park, and back. We will stop several times at scenic overlooks for pictures and rest times. – Randy & Margaret Scott
