Fines Forgiven! Bring Food and Celebrate!
Fines keeping you from borrowing? City of Kawartha Lakes Libraries in partnership with Kawartha Lakes Food Source presents Food for Fines! Pay your Library overdue fines with donations of non- perishable food items during Ontario Public Library Week at all Library branch locations. Bring in some food,get rid of those fines,and start devouring books again! There are special events for adults and children planned for all libraries in Kawartha Lakes.Special events Planned at the rural libraries in our area include:

Downeyville Public Library is located inside St Luke's School, at 335 St Luke's Road just off County Road 7 at the Four corners in Downeyville. Downeyville Library is open Wednesdays from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Did you know you can reserve books online, and pick them up at your local branch? Search the library online catalogue here.
