Omemee Legion Hosts Weekly Cribbage Tournament

Cribbage Anyone?

Royal Canadian Legion Branch 497 at 46 King Street East, Omemee; host a Cribbage tournament every Tuesday afternoon at 1.p.m.
If you’ve never played cribbage, or you’re a little rusty on the game, that’s quite alrirght. The friendly folks at the legion are always glad to help you out. If you’d like a little refresher before going to play, here are a couple of tips from Karolyn Schaik’s eHow article:”How to Play Cribbage”.

Just found this event on the Omemee Curling Club Site. It’s a bit late for entries, but it you’re really keen, you could give them a call and see if you can Blarney yourself into the Spiel, or perhaps the dinner or dance. Who knows- perhaps someone will have cancelled.

This is the first contest I’ve seen that actually mentions Omemee!
When you choose a team to support, it comes up under Ontario Minor Hockey (I think) Having a senior moment sorry about that! When you enter, can you please leave a comment to let me know if I’m right? I know it’s in there somewhere!

Original Recreation Receipt Lost? CoKL Helps

Lost your original receipt for eligible recreation programs? The City of Kawartha Lakes is happy to provide a replacement.

The Child Fitness Tax Receipt for eligible City of Kawartha Lakes children’s recreation programs or a Child Care tax receipt for City of Kawartha Lakes Day Camps can be re-issued on request.

Receipts can be picked up in person at the Parks & Recreation office at 180 Kent St. W., at the Lindsay Recreation Complex or you can contact c...@c...n.ca or call 705-324-9411 ext. 1335 to make arrangements.
