Yelverton United Church, just a stone’s throw west of Highway 35, on Highway 7A,  presents an Olde Tyme Turkey Dinner. In these parts of Ontario, a church dinner is an occasion not to be missed. Saturday, October 22nd, beginning at 4:30 pm, the whole family can enjoy tucking into a delicious turkey dinner, lovingly prepared by the members of the Janetville Pastoral Charge, in historic Yelverton United Church. You will want to book your tickets early, to avoid disappointment andSave $2 off the adult dinner rate!

What's on the Menu?


This year's traditional turkey dinner will feature the following:country roast turkey, stuffing, rolls, cranberry sauce, tomato juice, peas,carrots,turnip, tea coffee, and delicious desserts. One thing you won't find is TAX.
'We have several exceptional bakers in our church community,and their contributions are eagerly anticipated at each church dinner', a long-time member explained adding, 'We are fortunate to have so many people who contribute their time, and skills to putting on our church dinners,and events.'

Fundraising is an important part of rural church life and outreach. The project uppermost in people's minds at the moment is increasing accessibility to make activities available to all.
