Forensics identification Unit Assisting OPP!
Could You Assist Using Your Clues?
The OPP utilized the Forensic Identification Unit to assist with the investigation of the two following crimes which the police continue to investigate.Any clues you could provide would be appreciated:
Mariposa Vehicles
Damaged
May 20, 2012 an officer from the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the OPP attended an address on Highway 7 near White Rock Road in the former Mariposa Township. Investigation revealed that seven vehicles had been damaged overnight.
Fenelon Falls Tools Stolen
The City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is currently investigating a break-in that occurred in Fenelon Falls on the week end.
May 20, 2012 the OPP attended a commercial building on Industrial Park Drive which had been broken into. The building contained landscaping equipment and power tools. A truck was also vandalized during the break in.
Anyone having information on these crime or any others is asked to contact the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Information can also be reported anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or by going to www.khcs.ca and submitting an anonymous tip online.
