Omemee Senior’s Round Up

Euchre, Potluck, and Speakers Come Join in the fun!

CGIT Meets Wednesday Night Bethel United Church

Bethel United Church Omemee Presents Canadian Girls in Training

Girls 12-17 meet each Wednesday night 6:15-7:45 p.m.at Bethel United Church
Canadian Girls in Training (CGIT) is a program developed for girls ages 12 - 17. Girls and leaders participate in activities based on the needs and interests of the girls in keeping with the four elements of the CGIT purpose:
Cherish Health, Seek Truth, Know God, and Serve Others
Some activities CGIT groups enjoy include: music, games, Bible study, drama, banquets, parties, bike hikes, camping, guest speakers, discussions, conferences, and participation in worship services.

Armchair Gardener? Dandelion Dabbler? Great Grower? All Welcome!

 

Join in the fun 3rd Monday of each month February to November with Omemee and District Horticultural Society.

Omemee and District Horticultural Society executive has an exciting year planned. This year’s program includes a variety of speakers, as well as flower, vegetable & photography shows.

There are plant sales, a garden tour of members' gardens, a plant and seed exchange and some day trips to nurseries or commercial gardens.

Their speakers cover a range of topics and formats. They have professional speakers complete with slide shows, hands on demonstrations, and open forum question and answer sessions where you will hear a short presentation and then have a chance to share ideas, or ask the questions you need help with. Join us and share in the fun of gardening!

Their meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of every month (from February to November) in the lower hall of Trinity United Church unless otherwise indicated in the program. Refreshments and social time from 7 - 7:30, with the meeting beginning at 7:30. Come and bring a friend. All interested gardeners welcome.
