What Makes Your Kawartha Community Great? Bragfest!
Join Ann Joyner ‘This is My Place!’
Omemee, Bobcaygeon, Fenelon Falls, Lindsay, and Woodville residents are invited to an engaging, interactive evening of conversation among friends and neighbours about what makes their hometown a special place! Tuesday, July 26th, from 7 to 9 pm. City of Kawartha Lakes will host Ann Joyner’s motivational presentation at Coronation Hall, Omemee. Ann is looking forward to hearing from residents in our area, about what makes Omemee great, why it’s their place, and how it could be even better.About Ann Joyner
Guest speaker, Ann Joyner, is passionate about sustaining the small city and town way of life. She is a member of the Canada Green Building Council, a former professor at York University, and a resident of a small town. Ann will inspire citizens about liveability, drawn from her many years travelling and working internationally and across Canada. Ann, a member of the board of directors of Dillon, has over 20 years of experience with Dillon working for a range of private and public sector clients across Canada and internationally. She is a professional planner specializing in environmental assessment, strategic growth management, sustainable design, and corporate environmental management. Ann is currently responsible for Dillon’s resource sector clients.This is a free event and refreshments will be served.
