Bethany -Omemee Service Centre Consolidation Approved!

Kawartha Lakes Council Approves Bethany Service Centre Consolidation!

Kawartha Lakes Council approved the consolidation of two Municipal Service Centres in an effort to cut costs as explained by Mayor Andy Letham.
Today’s decision helps lessen the budget pressure with minimal impact on service levels. There is library staff in place in Bethany and Kirkfield locations to help with core services such as permits and information, and they will continue as the personal presence for the municipality” comments Mayor Letham.
One of the service centres now slated for consolidation is Bethany.
Omemee Municipal Service Centre is now the closest office for Bethany and area residents.
