Omemee Pioneer Days Site Features Canada Day Events

Looking for Omemee Canada Day Weekend Event Information? Here’s Where to Find it!

Omemee Canada Day Weekend celebrations are highlighted in a new site set up for the event: http://omemeepioneerdays.blogspot.com the site is an attempt to centralize the listings of the myriad of events taking place from Friday,July 1st to Sunday, July 3rd.

Omemee Pigeon eFlyer received a phone cal letting us know that the full page ad featured in the Lindsay Post was missing information about several activities. Since we were neither notified about the ad prior to its placement, and no contact details were in the newspaper, we decided to assist businesses and individuals who had been overlooked, by setting up a site to help publicize the events.

One major event missing from the Lindsay Post, is the Kids Carnival taking place Saturday at Roadside Diner, 139 King Street West, Omemee. The carnival is being run by Kawartha Charity Riders, and features prize-every-time games, a dunk tank, toddler’s bouncy castle, and flea market.

The site, will be featuring detailed event information, as well as accommodation information, and maps to the events. The event listings will be posted on Facebook, and Twitter as well  The site will continue to be maintained throughout the year with monthly updates on Omemee and District Historical Society notices,as well as historical information pertaining to the Omemee Area.
