There are many opportunities for praise,prayer, and worship each week in the rural Omemee area. Omemee Curling Club Open House!

Great Free All Ages Event!

Omemee Curling club open house is an opportunity to get together with old friends,and meet new friends too! Never tried curling? Here's your chance! Omemee  Curling club is having their annual open house tonight starting at 7pm and running till about 9:30, or 10 pm. People of all ages are welcome to come give curling a try,or dust off their shoes from last year,and re-hone their skills.

Curling:What You Will Need

When Curling, you want warmth and mobility. You will need a warm sweater and a very, very clean pair of running shoes, as well as loose fitting pants and perhaps gloves.

Omemee and District Lioness are gearing up for their Annual Yard Sale, and you’re invited to participate! Time to make room for new treasures by clearing out those items that just aren’t quite your style anymore! Tuesday and Friday mornings, leading up to the Saturday May 21st, yard sale, Lioness will be on hand to accept your ‘treasures" at Omemee Enterprises (former Regal Stationery). Drop off treasures from 10:00 to 11:30 am, or for pick up call Pauline at 799-6901.

Royal Canadian Legion Branch 497 Hosts a Blue Grass Jam every other Friday night starting at 7 p.m. Check our events calendar here to see if tonight's the night!

Come to listen, or bring an acoustic instrument to join in the fun!

Enter through the side doors at the Legion and follow the music up the stairs.
