Scott Young Public School Wild Imaginings Reality!

Scott Young Public School,Omemee, Ontario transformed Jack White’s toboggan hill,on Kawartha Trans Canada Trail from barren farmer’s field into Ecosystem 2000. Since 1994, Scott Young Public School staff and students have planted over 13,000 seedlings, 1900 large trees, 1000 shrubs and wildflowers through the Ecosystem 2000 program. What was once a barren farmer’s field, is visibly transforming into a lush habitat for a wide variety of flora and fauna. We need to put it on the map!
