2012 East Central Farm Show takes place Wednesday March 7th, 10 am to 9:30 pm,and Thursday March 8th, 10 am to 4 pm. The 32nd East Central Farm Show will be held in the Farmers' Mutual Exhibition Building, and the Show Ring, at Lindsay Fairgrounds, 354 Angeline Street South, Lindsay, Ontario. While the Application Deadline to appear in the Show Guide was January 24, 2012, this is an excellent opportunity to find out about the latest innovations in farming,meet neighbours, and catch up on local farm news.
Admission to the East Central Farm Show is only $5 per person,but 2012 Soil and Crop Improvement Association members get in free. Soil and crop memberships went on sale earlier this year at the 2012 Soil and Crop Meeting, but you can pick up a membership at the Farm Show as well.

Omemee Christian Outreach meets regularly Monday evenings for dinner, prayer, praise and Christian Fellowship at 6:30 pm at Christ Church Anglican. For the next two weeks however,there will be a change of pace.
For the next two weeks, rather than meeting at Christ Church Anglican,Omemee Christian Outreach welcomes you to join in a bit of holiday fun Wednesdays at noon at the cabin on Harry Peeters farm,just outside Omemee.
Harry Peeters has invited everyone to fun and fellowship at the cabin on his farm,just outside Omemee - pitching horseshoes.For the next two Wednesdays, come join in the fun at Harry's cabin at the back of their farm pitching horseshoes -good wholesome fun, and great friends.

Appointments are not necessary if you are visiting one of the Health Unit's clinics, but please remember to:
bring your health card and/or driver's license
wear a short sleeve shirt, if possible

Tomorrow is Bethany Day in Omemee! Did you know you can opt to get off the bus in Omemee on Thursdays? Remember to buy your bus tokens today, to be able to take the local transit tomorrow. If you are unable to get to Coronation Hall before 4:30 today to pick up your bus tokens, call us at the Omemee Pigeon eFlyer, before 2pm and we will purchase them for you in Omemee. You can then pick up your tokens between 6pm and 9pm this evening in Omemee.
You are invited to join in the Omemee "Community Design Walk" Wednesday, November 23, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Coronation Hall, 1 King Street West.
During this event you'll meet the consulting team's Urban Designer, Mr. Kiran Chhiba, and take him on a guided tour of our hometown. He'll listen intently as you explain the places, and spaces that represent the essence of our community; and then he'll help us prepare our hometown's Secondary Plan so that it promotes Omemee's special character.
Due to the unique nature of the event, please R.S.V.P. so refreshments can coordinated.

Kawartha Charity Riders meet Wednesday nights at Roadside Diner Omemee,and you’re invited to join in the fun! Each Wednesday night,Anne Marie arranges an extra special delicious dinner for the folks who come out to show,or admire the bikes.

Omemee Baptist Church sponsors activities for youth each Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Scott Young School, 27 Walnut Street West, Omemee, Ontario. The free youth program, is open to students from Grades 6 to 12.
